The "one" in One Solution is all about our control systems. These systems are manufactured by e:cue Lighting Control in Germany and are capable of controlling any Video or DMX LED fixture in the market. This universal control, in essence, provides the Choice, Affordability and Simplicity which is our mission to make specifying lighting systems easier for you and us.

The butler is a clustering-capable networking DMX output device that comes with an integrated replay unit. Up to two DMX lines can be controlled by e:cue programmer or media engine (1024 channels).

Via Soft-Patch you can assign two different DMX lines or have the same line repeated several times. The DMX signal is available from RJ45 connectors, optional XLR adaptors are available. The DMX connectors are used to transmit the DMX signal via RJ45 cable - a technology which finds a widespread application today, due to its cost efficiency when covering large distances in architectural projects. Network is also connected via RJ45.

In addition to a live output device for e:cue programmer, the butler can also be used as an autonomous replay unit. An internal SD-Card contains shows generated by e:cue programmer or videos uploaded by the UFGM player. Up to 1024 DMX channels can be replayed, and the butler also supports the liveFX functionality. The customer can replace the SD-card at any time, or erase it's contents to make room for more shows. Show upload is possible with the licensed e:cue programmer enterprise (e:cue dongle MM required).

If a project requires more than two DMX universes, several butler devices can be linked together as a cluster via e*net - they automatically synchronize during replay without the help of a central control unit (such as the e:cue programmer).

The integrated IR receiver allows the user to control shows using a regular IR remote controller.

The butler can be powered either by its AC adaptor or by a network using the Power-Over-Ethernet standard.  e*net

The e:cue butler learns new tricks!
The versatile e:cue butler dmx output device supports now also the Power over Ethernet IEEE 802.3af standard. As both types of PoE power sourcing equipment are supported, it is possible to use (P)ower over (E)thernet capable ethernet switches as well as so -called PoE-injectors, which can be used to inject power into an already existing ethernet connection. The recommended power level of the switches or injectors is class 1, with a maximum power level at the input of the powered device from 0.44 to 3.84 watts.

As another long-awaited novelty e:cue lighting control offers now an IR extension for the e:cue butler. This 2.5m cable extension, connected to the 3.5mm minijack feature port on the butler front, allows an easy access to the Cuelists (light sequences) saved on the internal sd card. This makes the butler a perfect solution for any kind of small stand-alone application by hiding the butler and having only the IR extension visible for smart remote control.
