As the manager of System Integration for One Solution Light + Control, Kurt Kroh is at the forefront of technology. He has a unique ability of harnessing technology for maximum impact and combining design efforts from architects, lighting designers and end users. His primary responsibility is to provide control solutions for architectural and entertainment lighting projects in North America.
Mr. Kroh specializes in many different types of control systems. For lighting control, he designs and specifies the following: e:cue Lighting Control, Philips Color Kinetics, Pharos Architectural Controls and MADRIX. His preference for show control applications is Medialon Manager. Richmond Sound Design's Sound Man Server and SFX are Mr. Kroh's choices for live sound and complex sound delivery systems. Lastly, he uses Dataon Watchout for display video applications.
Background
Mr. Kroh was born in Norwalk, CA. After completing his military service in the United States Army, Mr. Kroh immersed himself in areas of audio, video and lighting. He expanded his knowledge in audio by attending the School of Modern Music. As opportunities presented themselves, Mr. Kroh took advantage of these opportunities to learn all aspects of construction, operation and implementation of control and lighting systems. His hands on approach created an opportunity for him to move to Las Vegas from Northern California. Once in Las Vegas, he focused his attention to expand and implement his knowledge of audio, video and lighting as the Technical Project Manager at Themeing Solutions. Now, Mr. Kroh is the System Integration Manager at One Solution which affords him the ability of working with architects, lighting designers and electrical engineers in the development of control systems for projects throughout North America.
Personal
Mr. Kroh is married with three children. He makes his home in North Las Vegas. His personal endeavors include: computers, music and his church.
